Black Scholars and Professionals Matter was the title of this year's BSAP conference and the time talking together about self-care was much-needed and well-received. Attended by more than 50 conferees, they heard a precious message: You matter. Taking care of ourselves is no easy task, but through love and patience, grace and forgiveness, worship and prayer, black scholars and professionals were reminded to take time for themselves so they can continue to be fruitful when difficult seasons give way to seasons of restoration and joy.
