InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is one of the member movements from 160 countries which make up the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES.) Over the past few years, InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries has developed a partnership with IFES Caribbean (CARIFES), which includes 12 IFES-affiliated national student movements. As part of this partnership, CARIFES staff have visited and spoken during our annual GFM meeting and GFM members have visited and participated in CARIFES events. Kevin Kummer writes below about his visit in November 2017 to Guyana and Suriname.

We are in a time of leadership transition in our movement. Here are several crucial new updates–including new appointments for two GFM leaders—and prayer requests during this time of change.

For this end-of-year Inside GFM, I want to offer some reflections on the last few months and a few words of encouragement as we come to the end of this academic year.
