Anna is the National Director of Discipleship as of January 1, 2018. For the past 15 years, Anna has served students and faculty through InterVarsity, for five years with undergraduates and another five with graduate students and faculty at New York University (NYU), prior to becoming Area Director for Graduate & Faculty Ministries in New York and New Jersey. Anna served an existing multiethnic fellowship and pioneered ministries with graduate, business, medical, dental, international students, and faculty throughout an area that includes some of the most prestigious universities in the U.S., significantly expanding the staff, volunteer, and financial resources for the area. Prior to InterVarsity, Anna served as a social worker in a pediatric AIDS clinic in the Bronx. She earned a Masters in Social Work and a Bachelors in Journalism from NYU, where Anna became a follower of Jesus as part of InterVarsity's Asian American Christian Fellowship. Born and raised in New York City, Anna enjoys laughing and eating good food with gracious people -- especially with her husband James and their two daughters.
