The number of Christ-followers entering MBA programs has increased significantly over the last decade—especially since the financial crisis of 2008. There is a greater desire among Christians and non-Christians to link their values with their vocations.
InterVarsity’s MBA Ministry has served as a partner and resource to business students as they develop into world changers.
This annual conference gathers nearly 300 participants from over 20 schools and is a strategic part of MBA Ministry that God is using to develop students into world changers.
A Higher Calling: Becoming Kingdom-Minded Leaders
Given the different models of business and public leadership we have seen in the US and globally, many students desire to learn about a biblical leadership – in business, banking, consulting, brand management, and many other roles in the corporate sector.
Students and alumni at the conference will:
- Explore God's calling to be Christ-followers in the business sector
- Discern how their vocational calling intersects with their faith in God, and how to influence their sphere of influence for the better
- Participate in forums for honest discussion on opportunities, challenges, and strategies for following Christ in the marketplace
- Develop practical skills for building relationships with others at work in a Christ-like manner
Diverse speakers who model being Kingdom-minded leadership, will share their experiences with students. And there will be space for dialog with other MBA’s from around the world,
