Five Thresholds Toolkit

The Five Thresholds Toolkit for GFM is a set of multi-faceted evangelism training tools for our grad student and faculty context. The toolkit includes the following resources:

  • GFM Leaders Guide
This guide provides outlines for six training sessions (the overview and one for each threshold) with Bible studies, explanations of the materials, and questions for each video. The outlines also provide suggestions/tips for student or faculty leaders as they facilitate these studies. Handouts for each session and manuscripts of the scripture texts can be found at the end of the Guide.

  • GFM Active Response Sheet
This is a tool to use to walk faculty and grad students through the Five Thresholds considering the following questions for each Threshold:
    • What does my friend need?
    • What posture should I have?
    • What can actions could I take?
    • Suggested conversation starters
    • Application response

  • Author Videos and Testimonies
The videos are from faculty and grad students and help supplement each session. Please only share these videos in InterVarsity Small Group settings. To honor those willing to share their stories, please do not post the videos online, distribute them or use them outside of InterVarsity. (Video password: 5TH)
