David Suryk serves Christ and the University at the University of Illinois at Urbana with GFM. He has been on staff since 1981 serving 10 years as undergraduate staff (at Illinois Wesleyan and Illinois State Universities) and from 1991 to the present serving graduate students and faculty members at the U of I. He has said that he’s a recovering lawyer as well as a recovering analytic philosopher. He currently serves as the GFM Midwest Region's evangelism champion.
