This learning community is for white GFM staff on the journey of multiethnic ministry. We explore our European American ethnic heritage and the persistence of white supremacy in relation to Scripture and our mission among students, faculty, and colleagues of every ethnicity and culture.
About 15 staff have participated since Engaging Whiteness launched in January 2017. This spring we explored biblical foundations in relation to "whiteness" and racial justice, including:
- Awakening to the spiritual roots of racism (Mark 5)
- Corporate confession of sin (Nehemiah 9)
- Corporate repentance as a European American community (Nehemiah 10)
