Saturday – Religious Liberty Panel Discussion

Panelist: Brad Dacus, President and Founder of the Pacific Justice Institute
Bio: Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) legal defense organization specializing in the defense of religious freedom, parental rights, and other civil liberties. PJI works diligently, without charge, to provide its clients with all the legal support they need.

Panelist: Greg Jao, Senior Assistant to the President for InterVarsity/USA
Bio: Greg leads InterVarsity’s response to campus access challenges – situations where universities refuse InterVarsity chapters recognition because of our requirement that student leaders affirm our Doctrinal Basis. He also coordinates InterVarsity’s litigation and legislative initiatives around First Amendment issues.

Panelist: Lori Kepner, Legal Counsel for the Office of the General Counsel, Cru
Bio: Lori Kepner serves as in-house counsel for the nonprofit ministry of Cru.  Lori attended law school at Berkeley Law, UC Berkeley, graduating in 2003. She clerked for Judge Roger Wollman of the 8th Circuit for two years prior to joining staff with Cru. She has worked for Cru since 2005, serving both in the Campus Ministry and with the General Counsel's Office.  As an attorney for Cru, she focuses primarily on Constitutional Law, including free speech, religious freedom, and campus access issues.  She lives with her husband and five children in Davis, California.
