2017 Conference Recap

Faculty from around the Midwest gathered Jun 17-23, 2017, at Cedar Campus to consider spiritual formation for faculty and their families. Highlights include:

• Exhortations from Bob and Alice Fryling to grow in listening: for God’s voice in the Scriptures, to our own hearts, and to others.
• Faculty (and their spouses) listened to God and one another in daily small group gatherings which included rich times in Bible study and prayer.
• We listened and learned about each other’s work on campus and how our faith connects with that work during the second annual poster session.

The conference allowed faculty to receive spiritual and physical nourishment and enrichment in an environment with others in academy while not having to “be in charge” of the planning and leading. Many commented that this was a much-appreciated gift.
