On February 22-23, students and business leaders engaged in an important international topic: Capitalism. The 14th annual Believers in Business Conference examined the overlap and differences between capitalism and the Kingdom of God, as well as the practicalities of living as a follower of Jesus in the marketplace.
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is deeply grateful for the many speakers, donors, prayers, and exceptional student planners. MBA students and professionals gathered in Christian community to share meals, worship, and learn together.

These participant comments capture the ways that God was at work through the conference:
"Truly inspired by super interesting points about how financial capital is no longer the scarce resource and companies in the future will need to make the best use of social and human capital to succeed. And we should add financial value in combination with social value and push against people in business who seek financial value at the expense of social value."
"I had always assumed that to achieve business success I would have to live like the world. But these speakers showed me it's possible to gain success in the business world without giving up on a God centered life, which was truly inspiring as I return to the workplace."
"It's helped me strengthen my walk with the Lord. I feel accompanied with so many wonderful people that are also in the same path."
