NorCal Faculty/Staff Conference Guest Speaker

Our featured speaker will be Dr. Richard Mouw, Professor of Faith and Public Life at Fuller Theological Seminary, where he also served for twenty years as the school's president. Mouw earned a Master's degree in philosophy at the University of Alberta, and a Ph.D. at the University of Chicago. Before joining the Fuller faculty in 1985, Mouw taught philosophy at Calvin College for seventeen years.

He has written numerous books, including Adventures in Evangelical Civility, Uncommon Decency, Calvinism in the Las Vegas Airport, and The Smell of Sawdust. He serves on the board for Dordt College and Biologos, and has served as an editor for publications including the Reformed Journal and Books and Culture. He was the recipient of the 2007 Abraham Kuyper Prize for Excellence in Reformed Theology and Public Life.
