2018 NorCal Faculty/Staff Conference

Exploring the Christian Vocation in Higher Education

Join us on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 to explore the intersection of faith and academia at a one-day conference sponsored by InterVarsity and organized and run by local faculty and staff. This conference aims to be a source of lasting relationships that will not only provide support and fellowship, but will also spur us on towards greater involvement in the work of God’s Kingdom in the academic world. After a successful first event in 2017, we are delighted to be able to bring this conference back for a second year, and would love to have you join us!

Our featured speaker this year will be Dr. Francis Su, the Benediktsson-Karwa Professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College. Dr. Su's keynote message for us is entitled "Communicating Our Hope," and the day will feature two separate opportunities to take part in smaller break-out groups to discuss a variety of topics. A continental breakfast will be provided, as well as lunch. An optional dinner outing after the conference will provide a casual opportunity to debrief and socialize with other attendees. The event will be held at Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church, 10 Moraga Valley Lane, Moraga, CA 94556
