Ruth N. López Turley is Professor of Sociology at Rice University where she is Founder and Director of Houston Education Research Consortium as well as the Founder of the National Network of Education Research-Practice Partnerships (NNERPP). Her work aims to improve the connection between education researchers and decision makers for the purpose of closing achievement gaps and improving outcomes for students. "I’m most looking forward to… relaxed, informal conversations with colleagues and families.
What I hope for is… renewed hope — a genuine expectation that God is really making all things right, even when things seem to be going in the wrong direction."
