Marc Belton

Marc Belton is a former executive with General Mills, where he served most recently as Executive Vice President for Global Strategy, Growth and Marketing Innovation. In his 32-year career at General Mills he became known as a champion for growth, innovation and people. More recently, Marc founded Wisefellows Consulting, serving clients in the areas of marketing, strategy and new business development. Marc earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and his MBA from The Wharton School of Business. He has 16 years of Fortune 500 Corporate Board Experience having served at Navistar International and US Bancorp, plus serving his community as a Board Member with the Salvation Army (National), the Guthrie Theater, Northwestern College, Urban Ventures and Minnehaha Academy. Belton is a member of the Executive Leadership Council and received numerous awards and recognition, including being named one of corporate America’s most powerful African-American executives by Fortune and Black Enterprise as well as one of the most creative people in business by Fast Company magazine. Marc lives in Minneapolis with his wife Alicia and children Alexander and Gabrielle.
