Kim Mustin

Kim Mustin is a Managing Director at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, a passionate thought leader on retirement security, advocate for financial literacy, avid supporter of at-risk youth, entrepreneurial investor, philanthropist, mom and wife of a Navy Admiral who has dedicated her passions and expertise to helping like-minded individuals manage and grow their wealth.

Kim focuses on holistic planning, working closely with clients to identify investments that match their beliefs and goals. Her expertise in serving complex clients coupled with her desire to enable clients to feel secure in their wealth benefits high-net-worth individuals and families over multi-generations.  

Prior to joining the firm in 2017, she held progressively senior roles as the Global Head of Distribution for BNY Mellon and Global Head of Strategic Accounts at OppenheimerFunds providing bespoke investment solutions to large complex institutions globally.  Prior to her global roles, Kim was the Co-Head of Distribution for Legg Mason and the Head of the Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank working with large asset owners across endowments and foundations, pensions, private banks and wealth advisors. She began her career at the Treasury Department where she developed her passion for retirement planning and security.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in accounting and finance from the University of West Florida. Kim is also a proud board member of Sheltering Arms NY, and serves as the head of the Development Committee.  Sheltering Arms’ unwavering commitment since 1831 has been to strengthen the education, wellbeing, and development of vulnerable children, youth and families across the New York metro area. The organization’s mission is enabled with a broad but focused portfolio across education, mental health, early intervention, juvenile justice and foster care.
