Kathy Cooper

Regional Director, GFM Northeast Region

Kathy Cooper is directing InterVarsity's 2018 Northeast Faculty Conference. Kathy received a BA in American Studies (Literature) from Yale University, and 20 years later earned a Masters of Divinity at Regent College (Vancouver). Kathy has worked with InterVarsity for 27 years, engaging in ministry with undergraduate students (at Brown University, Ohio State University, and Rhode Island College) and in the last 12 years with Graduate & Faculty Ministries (at Brown University Graduate & Medical Schools and in various Regional and National leadership roles). In 2017 Kathy was appointed as the new Regional Director for the Graduate & Faculty Ministries Northeast Region.

Kathy loves helping people come alive to Jesus through Scripture, whether leading in-depth Bible study discussions, teaching people how to reflect theologically about their work, or listening for God’s presence in the sharing of life stories.  Kathy and her husband Keith live in Providence, RI, and they are now empty-nesters as their three daughters are in college and beyond.
