Former executive at Coca-Cola and World Vision

Bonnie Wurzbacher has served as a senior executive in the “C-suite” in two global corporate and non-profit organizations over the past 35 years. The majority of her career (1988-2012) was spent with The Coca-Cola Company where she served in various senior management and marketing leadership roles.  Rising to Corporate Director and Sr. Vice President, Global Customer Leadership, she was responsible for $1.6 billion in revenue, as well as the growth and development of collaborative, profitable partnerships with their largest customers and bottling partners worldwide. She led their first Global Customer Council and served on their first Global Women’s Leadership Council.

From 2013-2017, Bonnie served as Chief Development Officer with World Vision International, based in their global executive office in London. Reporting directly to the CEO and President, she had responsibility for the stewardship and strategic growth of $3 billion in revenue across all 20 fundraising countries.  She led a global team of 120 employees in strategic marketing, child sponsorship, grants acquisition and the regional leaders for Europe and Asia. She was a member of the Executive Leadership Team and serve on the Boards of World Vision US, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

Her extensive board service over the years includes the corporate boards of Cbeyond Inc., Atlanta, GA (2011-2015), Gordon Foodservice Inc. (2004-2007) and several non-profit national and local organizations that relate to her life story and purpose.   She is a passionate speaker and teacher of business leaders and students on the subjects of integrating faith, work and leadership.

Bonnie holds a B.A. in education from Wheaton College (Illinois) and an M.B.A. in general management from Emory University (Atlanta). She and her husband, Steve, reside in Atlanta and enjoy spending summers with their son’s family in Rhode Island and with their large, extended family across the country. They are 30-year members of Peachtree Presbyterian Church where Bonnie serves as an elder, choir member and life calling coach.
