Allison Moomey

TITLE TO BE UPDATED: Senior Management Consultant, Robin Hood Foundation

Allison Moomey is a Senior Management Consultant at Robin Hood, New York City’s largest poverty-fighting organization. Robin Hood provides funding and capacity building support to over 200 non-profit partners, with the aim of promoting sustainable mobility from poverty. Allison works alongside these partners to strengthen their organizations in a variety of ways, including through strategy, technology, and human capital initiatives.

Prior to Robin Hood, Allison worked at McKinsey & Company, where she spent time as both a generalist consultant and as the US Manager at Generation, a workforce development nonprofit McKinsey launched in 2014. In this role, she led teams dedicated to training and placing young adults in jobs across nine US cities. Before McKinsey, Allison served as a Kiva Fellow. In this role, she worked to build capacity and measure impact at microfinance institutions in Burkina Faso and Bénin. Prior to her time at Kiva, she taught Chemistry and Business at a high school in Colorado as a Teach for America Corps Member.

Allison is a Deacon at Trinity Grace Church Williamsburg. In this role she manages the church’s Deacon’s Fund, which provides financial assistance for emergency and other personal needs within the community. Allison holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BS in International Business from Pepperdine University.
